Office 365 Systems Specialist: Team Lead

The Role

We are looking for the person who can pick up and lead our Office 365 services initiative. This position requires a very hands-on and dynamic person with a special blend of technical, business and communication skills. If being our Office 365 Services and Team Lead sounds like your cup of tea, then read on!

In this role, you will be performing system/environment audits (information gathering), strategic and technical planning, provisioning, project implementation (logistical and technical), systems customization and support for clients who are looking to move systems, functions and processes to the cloud: specifically to Office 365 and Azure. This position will also require some operations and team management skills as our Office 365 team continues to grow.

Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of ten years in the industry with a focus on SharePoint and client-server IT infrastructure (networking, file/print, email/collaboration, security, backup/disaster recovery, etc.). The ideal candidate will have experience working in a diverse multi-client environment with a blend of business experience, hands-on technical ability, a capacity (and desire) to learn and the ability to work with people at all levels.

  • Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently and take responsibility for quality of work.
  • Certifications, including MCITP, MCSE/MCSA, MCTS and/or SBSC are not required but highly desired.

IT Systems Specialist/Lead Tech

The Role

The IT Systems Specialist (Lead Tech) position requires a hands-on, dynamic person with a special blend of technical, business and communication skills. If being the Lead Technical Administrator and Primary Account Manager for many diverse business environments, working in a collaborative and supportive team environment and never having two days be exactly alike is your cup of tea, then read on!

In this role, you will be the trusted advisor, implementer, technical expert and primary account manager for an assorted group of clients. The work is rarely dull and tends to be fast-paced with many projects going on at the same time and requires focus, attention to detail, and the ability to shift gears quickly. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with solid technical skills and the ability to dive deep, own and handle multiple projects simultaneously and communicate at all levels. The position requires strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:

  • Microsoft products including: Windows 7/8, Windows SBS 2008/2011, Windows Server 2003 through 2012R2, Exchange, SQL, IIS, SharePoint, RDS/Terminal Services, WDS, etc.
  • Active Directory: FSMO roles, OU structure, sites, replication, GPO, etc.
  • Hyper-V: provisioning, migrations, networking, etc.
  • Networking at all seven layers including; VLANs, sub-netting (CIDR), routing, DHCP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, etc.
  • SMB hardware including; HP, Dell, SonicWALL, APC, etc.
  • Third-party infrastructure solutions including; back-up and disaster recovery, document management, collaboration, security, antivirus/antispam systems, cloud services, etc.

Other requirements:
