Walt Bell, Principal

Walt Bell has provided IT consulting services, project management, needs analysis, installation, configuration, ongoing technical support, hardware, software and training for more than 28 years to businesses ranging from two users to multisite companies of 100+ employees. Walt joined the ProComp Group in 2011 through a merger with his own consulting firm, Micro Computer Consultation, which he founded in 1983.

Walt holds a variety of industry certifications including Microsoft MCSE, MCT, MCP and SonicWall CSSA. He has a bachelor's degree in mathematics with an option in computer science.

 

Raymond Belt, President

Raymond Belt, Principal

Raymond Belt is an IT systems and network engineer with more than 18 years of consulting experience. Before founding the ProComp Group, Ray served as a senior consultant with Modis Inc. (at the time, the world's eighth-largest IT consulting company), as the network operations manager of a dynamic securities firm, and as the operations / IT manager for a tri-state installation logistics company. Ray has worked with companies as small as one and as large as 18,000 users.

He holds a mechanical engineering degree (BSME) from the University of Rochester, NY, with concentrations in architectural acoustics and business management, and has earned many industry certifications, including Microsoft's MCSE and Cisco's CCNA.

 

Rob Woodruff, IT Systems Specialist

Rob Woodruff joined the ProComp Group in 2011 after logging eight years as an independent IT consultant, serving clients across a range of industries including real estate, restaurant, wine, hospitality, legal and entertainment.

Rob's experience covers all Windows operating systems as well as Macintosh and Linux platforms. His primary areas of expertise are desktop and server support, especially TCP/IP, network infrastructure and mobile/remote connectivity. He is currently Microsoft-certified (MCP) in managing and maintaining Windows Server 2003 environments.

 

Robert Passmore, IT Systems Specialist

Robert Passmore joined the ProComp Group in 2013 after working in IT with a local commercial bank for more than five years, providing service to both internal and external customers.

With a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology degree, Robert focuses on enabling users without compromising the security and reliability of their systems.

 

Adam Lazar, IT Systems Specialist

Adam Lazar joins the ProComp Group with over 18 years of experience supporting a wide range of vertical markets including legal, real estate, non-profit, hospitality, industrial and publishing.

Adam has worked with high-demand clients in dynamic environments as well as clients with simple IT needs. He enjoys it all, as he truly loves to make his clients happy. Adam's other specialties include internet security, website development, programming and database development.

 

Ian Lindquist, IT Systems Specialist

Ian Lindquist specializes in server and desktop computer support, having worked with Windows-based systems since 1998. He learned Microsoft systems from the inside out as an operations engineer for software development groups at the Redmond headquarters between 2009 and 2015. He has also logged time in the PC retail sector and rack-mount server manufacturing & support. Ian holds an AAS in software application development from Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland, WA with CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications. He enjoys web programming and working on projects in his spare time.

 

Joel Meadows, IT Systems Specialist

Joel signed on with the ProComp Group in 2014 after over 17 years of IT experience in a diverse mix of vertical markets and client environments. At PCG, Joel focuses primarily on Windows systems, migrations and troubleshooting, although he enjoys working in Linux and Macintosh environments whenever possible.

Before moving to Portland in 2006, Joel worked for a large managed service provider in the Washington DC area, focusing on corporate computer and network migrations. Once out West, he worked with a Portland-area IT security and high-availability consultant. Joel has a bachelor's of science degree in geographic information systems and has also served in sales and project-management roles throughout his career.

 

Grant Low, IT Systems Specialist

By popular demand, Grant is back at the ProComp Group after a hiatus off-site. He first joined PCG in 2008 and has 15 years of experience designing and maintaining IT infrastructure for business: large and small, industrial and commercial. Grant focuses on special projects and critical behind-the-scenes work to optimize and enhance clients' systems. In his free time -- whatever that is -- he enjoys hiking, yard work (OK, that may be a stretch), and spending time with his three children.

 

Claudia Fransen, Accounting

Claudia Fransen joins the ProComp Group after launching her accounting career in Fresno, California. She manages the PCG books during her time-outs from managing the activities of two busy children.

 

 

Ruth Rowland, Coordinator

Ruth handles jobs that are not IT or bookkeeping, including client communications, marketing, and ProComp cookie-baking. She has a background in communications and journalism.
